If you are craving Kolkata-style puchka, churmur and Dahi Puri here in Hyderabad, look no further. Calcutta Chaat is the perfect choice as I discovered recently on Swiggy. Packed neatly in a big white box were Perfectly crisp puris (hand-made), the aloo-Kala Chana filling just as it is off Kolkata streets, and two bottles of Khatta paani and Meethi chutney , and the Khatta paani was dead drop delicious, just the right notes of tangy-spicy ! Also packed were two leaf bowls or pattey ke doney just as you would like to eat off the streets and paper napkins too. Hygiene bhi ,taste bhi without taking away ths typical street flavour. Tried and tasted were also churmur and Tikki chaat, and while the churmur had crumbled Puri topping separately, the Tikki chaat was a bit soggy because of the Dahi and sev being already mixed in it..the Swiggy menu also mentions Kolkata style singara and Gujarati nashto.
