This September, Burma Burma outlets pan India are bringing for diners To Burma, With Tea a unique Burmese tea shop experience. Tea shops in Burma are places of connecting and bonding over endless cups of milky, sweet tea and spicy snacks. For this particular pop up by @burmaburmaindia Pulled teas (iced and hot), peppy snacks and hearty wholesome big plates, inspired by the Burmese flavour palette but designed for the Indian market feature on a limited edition menu. My picks from the sampling session hosted by @burmaburmaindia not too long ago in no particular order: *Seared Tofu & Avocado Salad, with tomatoes and shallots in a dressing of lime-chilli oil, simple & yet sublime. *Chin State Potato Croquettes, crisp and delightful with five spice flavoured mock meat filling, served with a side of spring salad and preserved black bean dip. *Tea Shop Noodle Bowl, Udon noodles tossed with slow cooked onion and chilli powder, with vegan protein topped with wheat flakes. *Yangon Royal Tea, milk tea topped with an indulgent layer of fresh cream, just the perfect elixir for endless conversations. *Coconut Iced Tea, black tea stirred with coconut milk and coconut custard. A light & refreshing beverage which can also double up as a dessert. The promotion is on until September 30th, go indulge!
