
Ottimo, the upscale Italian dinery of @itckohenur has launched its pop up Stagione Della Calda or in simpler words, its summer menu. The menu offerings are light, nutrient-dense (using fresh seasonal ingredients like honey melon, tomato and fennel leaf), and absolutely delicious . The first pic is of the most divine Grilled King Prawns with Fregola which is a semolina pasta, reminded me of cous cous. The prawns were buttery soft with a mint gremolata (chopped parsley, lemon zest and garlic) .. Can you even imagine how the dish would have tasted? As good as it looks! The other notable dish which got a star rating from me was the Crumb fried Eggplant Parmigiana served with Neapolitana sauce with a caprese salad or insalata as the Italians say. The ‘Tomato Tea’ offered at the beginning of the meal was refreshing and with the perfect tartness of tomato. 🍅 The perfect finale to a gourmet meal just had to be the coffee and hazelnut semi Freddo which was finished off by everyone at the table to thd last crumb! Chef Apar Chatterjee has outdone himself with this curation, well done! If light and flavourful Italian cuisine with the perfect authentic textures and techniques is what you fancy, Do not miss this pop up, it’s on until the end of April and might be moved forward too.
