Madikeri Craft Coffee has that warm, magical vibe of an organic cafe which is focused on serving some of the best Coorg coffees (100 percent Arabica) sourced from Madikeri estates in a charming ambience. Helming the cafés operations ix owner Sarita Sarkar, (she can safely be called a serial hospitality entrepreneur now!) whose aesthetic, creative touches are apparent in the bric a brac and potted plants, making for a very pleasant and green outdoor ambience. The menu has besides the lattes, cappuccinos, espressos and Americano, a good listing of cold brews, of which the Sunrise Fusion is rightly tagged as their signature, it’s got freshly squeezed orange juice along with the Arabica coffee. The cinnamon latte was also a palate pleaser, as far as the aroma and strength of coffee goes. The food menu, which is absolutely fabulous, has been planned by @theglasshousehyd which shares its premises with the cafe. Besides the delectable Goan Ross Omelette, the real banger of a dish was the Mushroom Pongal which came with topping options of Shrimp Varuval (though they were good-sized prawns, good for me!) and Potato Salli (the Parsi-styled matchstick potato chips with crispness galore!) .. this one was a stunner, kudos to the culinary brain which thought of it. The Strawberry French Toast was also very nom nom in a wholesome soul food way. So, head out with yout besties to @madikericraftcoffee and make the most of this glorious weather , chatting up a storm with your fave brew. Besides the Mercara brew specials, there is also hot chocolate and blue tea, and a host of other brews. Sarita Sarkar, you are on a roll, touchwood !
