When Le Cafe launched @novotelhyd more than a decade ago, it was touted as Hyderabad’s first Parisian-style sidewalk cafe, (with original sketches by Mario Miranda on the walls) even if it was inside the hotel at lobby level and not on the street. Today Hyderabad has several Parisian cafes but it is only a few OG classics like Le Cafe which hold your palate. And what better time to visit than when their new menu is in place? We tried a couple of shakes first , the decadent Mango Mastaani and the Strawberry dried fruit one, in glasses tall enough to qualify as lunch. The Charcoal infused pulled braised lamb burger which came with fries and salad was perfection personified. If you fancy pizzas, Pizzanbi is a great choice, imagine luscious butter chicken and mozzarella slathered on thin crust pizza. By the way, Thete are healthy options like quinoa salad ;swipe to right to see all the dishes! 😁 French toast with hazelnut chocolate filling and the inspired Shahi Tukda as well as the Khubani Ka Semifreddo, a fusion of Hyderabadi & Italian flavours. The eclairs, coffee & hot chocolate continue to be fab so if you are meeting up friends or family for an evening coffee, Le Cafe is truly a great option. I was told that the cafe is now on Swiggy & Zomato too, so order that charcoal burger now, the pricing is quite competitive, in fact better than most standalone cafes.
