I had wished to post this before the month of March had,well, “marched” out, but of late have not been able to do as much justice to as many social diary commitments as I would like to because of personal exigencies. So here I am, posting about the Women’s Day celebration at @itckohenur a month later but hey women should be celebrated every single day! The celebration turned out to be not merely a tokenism to women on a particular date, but much more. Right from the hatted lady mannequin at the lobby crafted out of flora to the full on pampering of women guests, it was an impeccable event & kudos to the ITC Kohenur team. Mocktails/cocktail mixing/chocolate making workshops check. Some absolutely divine summery liquids and pass me arounds, check. Designing your own bouquet from an entire flower store abd a florist in tow, check. Lac bangle maker with his craft tools and making bangles on demand, check. Last but certainly not thd least was the absolutely smashing Hyderabadi chowki dinner created by the culinary maestro Aamer Jamaal: Hyderabadi Kachi Gosht Biryani, Shikampur k baba, Dum Ka Murgh and some delectable Double Ka Meetha & Apricot Trifle. All in all, a day to cherish the best of Hyderabadi hospitality traditions in a contemporary avatar. And I surely don’t remember being pampered so much in the longest time ever! Thank you chef Aamer, F&B manager Vivek Boddul, Pastry chef Pushpendra, Aasif and other members of the @itckohenur team for ensuring a roomful of happy women ! 💜🤗
