When Rishikesh is just an hour away from your home, you gotta make frequent visits without even bothering about tomorrow. I know many of you treat Rishikesh as a second home and so do I from 10 years. It is no surprise how confused we always turn out to be inspite of knowing the place so well. And why not! Less time and so much to do. But don't worry, let's take a look at my itinerary. Here's all what I do. (Please know that I'm more of a chill traveller so I don't have the pressure of ticking bucket lists. I just enjoy my time haha.) We start with... a quaint coffee stop at @cafehideout_rishikesh in Marine Drive, the soulful energy of Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat, wandering through the old-world charm of Purani Galiyan after crossing Janki Setu, and shopping my heart out in the lanes of Lakshman Jhula this is what a perfect day here looks like. Add a sattvik meal consisting of Stuffed Mushroom, Lemon coriander rice and Paneer Kali Mirch at @thearches_rishikesh , a long scenic drive along Cheela Dam and a dreamy cafe brunch at @himalayanyogacafe with stacked pancakes and egg benedict, and you get the kind of day that stays with you long after you leave. Rishikesh is not just a destination. It is a feeling. It is peace, flavour, movement, devotion, and a long walks wrapped into one beautiful experience. Every picture tells a story.
