Some cafés hardly leave a mark. The good ones earn your trust for years to come. The great ones make you come back hungry… and curious, "What's more?" @koi_dehradun is exactly that! Being Dehradun's newest cute cafe, KOI from @akiocoffee already feels like I've been visiting them for a decade. The space is warm and thoughtfully done, with cosy corners inviting you to slow down and hum the melody of life. An absolute winner of a main course: Grilled Prawns & Herb Risotto. Being a Bengali, you know you can trust me. Butter-garlic prawns perfectly cooked, resting on a lemony herb risotto (THE BEST IN TOWN) utterly creamy leaving a fresh, comforting and indulgent mark in my cerebellum. The French Onion Soup had a rich broth, slightly caramelised onions, cheesy goodness and a flavour to remember for lazy days. The Chicken Spiedini with it made so much sense: Juicy skewers coated in pesto mayo that felt familiar yet refined. Gym food can be yumm too! The Za’atar Grilled Chicken with Tzatziki was calm, herby, and beautifully grounded. It brought so much warmth and depth, with its simple yet refreshing composure. Pink lemonade would definitely be the best refreshing drink one needs in between the bites.
