Poila Boishakh in my Dehradun home, but make it a whole-day moodboard! Tucked in my notun jama, an age old ritual we follow.... and let the day unfold like a little Bengali New Year diary in the hills with food, chai, and a lot of heart. First stop: @pahaadigaadi Dehradun’s one of a kind food truck that takes me back to college days of 2017/18, for that chicken platter with pita, hummus, and all the comfort I have loved. What a time to relive the memories! Then a beru beru drive down the Thano–Raipur road, just enough to slow life down and let the festival breathe. Quickly returned home for the Neel Shasthi pujo continuation, then office, because some traditions and deadlines both show up on time. Pheww... Evening chai at @hathi.chai.shop_doon another historical landmark for many chai lovers that still feels like a warm memory of old Dehradun. Had some quick bun maska and chai over gossip with bondhugon. A quick @westsidestores shopping, and the day ended the right way at @thebongtwist with bhetki paturi, because no Poila Boishakh is complete without a proper Bengali meal at the end.
