Doon mornings make every tired trek worth it. Trekking almost 3.5 km from the usual Hathi Chai point early in the morning (thanks @2025_sansa for pulling me through), breath a little heavy, legs questioning life choices, until the sun slowly rises. From the Thappi View Point, Dehradun peeks through tiny buildings below, the valley stretches endlessly, and a waterfall hums in the background like nature’s call (no, not what you're giggling on lol). No crowds, no rush, just the city prepping up slowly while you stand still, feeling grateful and wildly alive.
