❤️🤞Ek hazaaron mein mera best friend hain🤞❤️ @aminiarestaurant.ncr a pre-independence era Biryani joint has opened its doors in Kalkaji of Delhi and Gurgaon and I had to travel all the way from my Dehradun home to check this out! The Rakshabandhan shenanigans are still on! Why not! Especially when you have a legendary place that's not just a Bengali's blessing but universal in tantalising the tastebuds of a true connoisseur of Biryani. Imagine meeting your BFF after 6 long months, some happy tears shed over a good Biryani meal and the luscious Chaap! Breathtaking. Plus he's a vegetarian so it's quite a festive win. Their paneer tikka is something I'd remember for years to come (this is coming straight from a pure non vegetarian). Perfect texture, perfect spice blend. The best! But what really garners my attention since childhood when I used to have their chaap and Biryani at Dharmatala with Maa and Dadu is the preparation of chaap. That depth, that colour, the perfect cook on it. It takes years to master that art!
