Tucked away in Jubilee Hills, Jamun brings together regional Indian flavours, inventive cocktails, and a relaxed lounge-style ambience that works beautifully for long evening conversations. We started with their signature cocktails, and the clear winner for me was The Jamun — a vibrant mix of gin, jamun purée, lime, and house spices that felt refreshing, balanced, and instantly memorable. The Karam Cante was another standout, combining tequila, jalapeños, pineapple juice, coriander leaves, lime, and honey into a cocktail with a lovely spicy edge. We also tried the Cochin Cooler and Kubani Old Fashioned, both adding their own regional twists to classic profiles. On the food side, the stars of the evening were definitely the Goan-style Crab Cutlets and the Seekh Kebabs — both packed with flavour and executed beautifully. The Butter Garlic Prawns worked well too, while the Injipuli Chicken Wings did not work out for us.. What makes Jamun stand out is how confidently it blends regional Indian cuisine with contemporary bar culture — from coastal seafood influences to Hyderabadi and Andhra flavours, all tied together with a thoughtfully crafted drinks menu.
