Guntur Karaam is a newly opened vegetarian restaurant for South Indian tiffins and meals, conveniently located opposite Paradise Bakery at Paradise, Secunderabad. What really stands out here is good food at an economical pricing, tiffin items priced below ₹50 and unlimited meals starting at just ₹99. I dropped in on my way back from the nearby LIC office and started with a Ragi Dosa, a healthy millet dosa that’s easy on the system and doesn’t spike sugar readings on a continuous glucose monitor. The Guntur Karaam Idlis were soft and comforting, with a nicely balanced, flavourful podi. My associate ordered the Special Guntur Karaam Dosa, which impressed both in presentation and taste. The meals here are equally satisfying, with a special shoutout to the sambar, which was robust, well-balanced, and clearly made with care. It’s the kind of everyday comfort food that you can keep coming back to without burning a hole in your pocket. What makes Guntur Karaam even more convenient is its almost round-the-clock timing, opening at 6 AM and serving till 4 AM, making it a reliable option for early breakfasts as well as late-night hunger pangs.
