With Bengali New Year celebrations in full swing, Sheraton Hyderabad is hosting a special Bengali food festival at Feast, its all-day dining restaurant. Curated by their in-house expert Chef Manik, the menu brings together a delightful spread of traditional Bengali dishes. The festival offers a wide variety of Bengali street food and snacks to begin with, including Phuchka, Ghugni, and Jhal Muri, capturing the vibrant flavours of Kolkata. Vegetarian options such as Chhanar Dalna, Vegetable Chop, and Narkel Diye Dal provide comforting, homestyle flavours. For non-vegetarians, dishes like Posto Diye Machher Jhol and Chingrir Cutlet stand out. Among the highlights is the classic Luchi–Kosha Mangsho combination, which proves irresistible. The richly spiced mutton pairs beautifully with Basanti Pulao, adding depth to the meal. No Bengali food festival is complete without the iconic Kolkata Biryani with Aloo. The potato, often debated, adds a unique flavour and texture that defines this beloved dish. Another standout was the chutney platter, featuring four different variants, each offering a distinct sweet and tangy profile. And of course, a Bengali feast is incomplete without mishti (desserts). The spread includes favourites like Rosogolla, Mishti Doi, and Mihidana, bringing the meal to a perfect sweet conclusion. The festival is available as part of the buffet at Feast, for both lunch and dinner, and will run until Friday, 17th.
