
I’m stoked to be a finalist in not one, but two categories at the Inspire Global Media Awards 2026 — selected from over 700 nominations worldwide. 1. Consumer Feature of the Year – International Writers (Asia Sub-Category) for my story on science and sustainability with the Baiga Tribe of Bandhavgarh in Outlook Traveller — a deep dive into Indigenous knowledge, conservation, and community-led stewardship. 2. Short-Reel of the Year for my Cairo reel on @thekrazybutterfly — a visual that captures the pulse, texture, and lived energy of the city. One recognises immersive, researched narrative, and the other honours visual storytelling in its most distilled form. Both reflect what I care about most: telling travel stories that go beyond surface beauty and encourage travellers to engage with places thoughtfully, responsibly, and with cultural respect. Positive storytelling shapes perception. It expands empathy. It influences how and why people travel, and what they value when they do. Congratulations to all the other finalists across categories.
