Brunton Boatyard in Fort Kochi – where history meets the sea. Once a Victorian shipyard, it now stands as a boutique heritage hotel that felt like stepping into Kerala’s colonial past (with way better beds, thankfully). Watching the sun dip into the harbour from my living area was awesome. And the neighborhood? Absolutely worth exploring on foot, e-bike or Tuk Tuk 👉🏻 Chinese Fishing Nets – postcard-perfect Fort Kochi view, especially at sunset. 👉🏻 St. Francis Church – the oldest European church in India, where Vasco da Gama was once buried. 👉🏻 Dutch Palace (Mattancherry Palace) – history buffs, this one’s for you. 👉🏻 Jew Town & Paradesi Synagogue – lanes buzzing with spice shops, antiques, and stories. 👉🏻 Street Art & Cafés – every corner hides a mural or a quirky café.
