Spain is love — the kind that keeps calling you back without warning! 😻 👉🏻 In 2024–2025, I visited Spain five times, travelling extensively through its countryside—from Madrid to Málaga, from Seville to Marbella, from Córdoba to Valladolid and more — and wrote 23 articles, with three more on the way — the most I’ve ever written about any country. And still, it feels like I’ve only scratched the surface. Spain doesn’t rush. It unfolds slowly, like a story you never want to end, in moments you don’t plan for. 👉🏻 But if there’s one place that quietly claimed a part of me, it’s Cigales. Somewhere between its underground wineries, where time feels like it’s been bottled along with the wine, I left behind a small, stubborn piece of my heart. The kind you don’t realise is gone until you’re already missing it. 🫠🫠 👉🏻 Valladolid, though — that was something else. A city of stories layered in stone. Castles that stand like time paused around them. Hidden cellars beneath your feet where wine has aged longer than some memories last. Every corner holds onto something old, something worth listening to. And maybe that’s why this trip felt different. 👉🏻 The spontaneous detours, the long conversations, the laughter that didn’t need translation. I was lucky to share it with people who made every moment feel bigger, warmer, and somehow more alive. Spain has a way of doing that. It doesn’t just show you places, it makes you feel them. There’s a certain magic here — persistent. No matter how many times you come back, Spain will always have more of itself to give.
