What. A. Day! 🎉 Took a day trip to Cullera—just 35 minutes from Valencia—and it turned into a mini-adventure. 😍 👉🏻 Started with what was supposed to be breakfast but turned into a two-hour food fiesta at La Mar Salada (because...when in Spain 🇪🇸). Tried horse meat for the first time—don’t knock it till you try it! 👀🥩 👉🏻 Then it was off to Cullera Castle 🏰 where I lucked out—it was International Museum Day, so the small but history-packed museum was full of amazing archaeological finds! 👉🏻 Wrapped up the day wandering the quiet, charming lanes of the town 🏘️, visiting the church, then hopped on a peaceful boat ride down the Júcar River (known as Río Júcar in Spanish or Xúquer in Valencian), aboard a traditional Valencian boat—barquet albuferenc, and spotted traditional Baraccas—those picturesque Spanish fishermen’s homes. 🚤🌾 Who knew a quick getaway could feel like a whole cultural deep dive? 🙌 #Cullera #VisitValencia #ValenciaDayTrip #InternationalMuseumDay #internationalmuseumday2025 #visitspain #culleraturismo #travelwithkrazybutterfly #solotraveller #youdeservespain
