Most people picture Thailand as beaches, palm trees, and cocktails by the sea. But on my recent trip, I swapped the sand for something completely different — rolling vineyards, mountain breeze, and a glass (or three) of locally made wine at PB Valley in Khao Yai. Just a 2.5-hour drive from Bangkok, PB Valley feels like stepping into a slice of the European countryside except with a Thai twist. 👉🏻 Set on nearly 800 acres at the foothills of Khao Yai National Park, it’s actually Thailand’s first and largest winery, quietly making wine since the 1990s. During the 70-minute guided tour, I learned about how they grow Shiraz, Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chenin Blanc, and Colombard right here in tropical Thailand.
