Most people know Buñol for its world-famous tomato fight—but there’s so much more to this Valencian town than a flying fruit! 🍅 On my recent visit, I peeled back the layers of Buñol’s rich culture and was blown away by how deeply music is woven into its soul. 👉🏻 With not just one, but two prominent auditoriums, the town pulses with symphonic pride and a deep tradition of classical performance. It’s no wonder Buñol has one of the strongest music scenes in Spain! 👉🏻 Thanks to the city council, I even had the opportunity to grab a traditional lunch at a 400-year-old restaurant. The local cuisine was rustic, rich, and unforgettable—will share the details shortly. 👉🏻 And of course, no visit is complete without a climb to Buñol Castle, perched on a hill with stunning views and centuries of history echoing through its stone walls. Standing there, I witnessed the soul of the town—quiet, strong, and proud. Buñol is a hidden gem in the province of Valencia. If you’re in the region, don’t just pass through for La Tomatina.
