Our bodies are far more honest than our minds, they hold on, even when we try to move on. Anxiety doesn’t just stay in the mind. It sits right in the chest , tightening your breath, creating heaviness, making you feel like you can’t exhale fully. That’s why heart-opening postures and slow breathing feel like such a relief… they give your chest permission to soften again. Fear often settles in the hips. When you’ve been in survival mode, your hips become tense, stiff, guarded, like your body is bracing itself without even asking you. Gentle hip-openers help you feel safe enough to release what you’ve been holding. Anger and unspoken boundaries? They show up in the jaw. Clenched teeth, tight neck, constant tension. You’re holding back words, holding back expression, holding back truth. When you move and breathe, the jaw finally relaxes and suddenly the mind becomes quieter too. Your body is always communicating. And a regular, mindful yoga practice is where you finally learn to listen. Every posture, every inhale, every long exhale slowly melts through the layers you didn’t even know you were carrying. If you feel like your body has been holding emotional weight for too long, comment ‘RELEASE’ and I’ll share a detailed list of postures you can start practicing for emotional release. And if you want a safe, consistent space to heal, with guidance, breathwork, and flows designed for emotional and physical release, join my online yoga classes. We’re doing this together, one breath at a time. 🤍✨ #yogawithpragati #pragatiwithyoga #onlineyogaclasses #yogaforwomen #backpainrelief
