I walked away from my well paying IT job with nothing but a quiet knowing that yoga was meant for me, and even though I had no students, no classes lined up, and absolutely no clue where to begin, something inside me whispered that starting from scratch was still better than not starting at all. Those early days were empty in numbers but full of faith, and step by step, breath by breath, I kept showing up for myself, trusting that consistency and sincerity would someday open doors I couldn’t yet see. Slowly, life responded. I began teaching the first few people who believed in me, and from those tiny beginnings grew the most incredible journey, one that took me across different countries, helped me build my own personal student groups, allowed me to work with more than 20,000 beautiful humans, made me walk into corporate rooms with confidence, and gifted me experiences I had only dreamed of, like trekking on mountains, swimming in open waters, scuba diving into silence, climbing hills that tested my strength, and standing on beaches that reminded me how far I had come. But the most precious moment of all is the one that still fills my heart every time I think about it, was taking my parents to Kashi Vishwanath, because in that moment it felt like every struggle, every sleepless night, every risk, every leap of faith had led me not just to success, but to a place where I could give something meaningful back to the people who raised me. And if there is one message I want every student, every beginner, every dreamer to take from my journey, it’s this: You don’t need a perfect start. You don’t need a clear map. You don’t need to know how everything will work out. You just need one step, one decision, one moment of courage.
