Dilli ki Dastaan playing out at Golconda Pavilion @itckohenur in the evenings until January 26th is a celebration of the varied and chatpata, robust flavours which go to make for the unique cuisine of the National Capital Region. It’s tough to believe that Home chef Yashita Aggarwal, who grew up in Delhi but is based in Hyderabad now started cooking post her marriage to her Telugu husband, thanks to whom she also learnt her mutton seekh kabab and butter chicken. Right from the soft and delicious Dahi Bhalla to the crisp Ram Laddoo (moong dal pakoras served with a grated radish relish and spicy mint chutney and the light as air Makhaane Kebab as well as the chicken tikka, chef Yashita came out with flying colours. Other Standouts were * the creamy and absolutely divine Shahi Lassi, equally tangy and sweet with a touch of saffron and loaded with nuts, yummy! * The fluffy and perfectly textured garma garam bhature * The mutton korma , especially the gravy * Palak Psneer *Boondi raita with some extra crisp boondi for crunch *Gajrela aka Gajar Ka Halwa which was perfect in a home made way, one could taste the red carrot and the dessert was not overly greasy or sweet. The pop up is on for dinner (7 pm to 11.30 pm) on a thali format though some dishes will be featured on the buffet too. The veg thali is priced at ₹1550 plus taxes while the non veg thali is priced at ₹1750 plus taxes. Book your tables now at Golconda Pavilion if you like all things Dilli! 💜#delhifood #hungrydilliwaali
