Koko Hyderabad made a banger of a debut in November 2024 as a luxe Asian fine dining destination located in Nexity, High Tech City. It continues to rank high on the popularity charts, going by the weekday lunch rush too. Highlights? One, Sassy cocktails like the Agave Nest , a smooth tequila-agave (the plant from which tequila is made) and served with a white chocolate egg as garnish to be broken with flair at the table! Secondly, the eclectic food choices, including a vegan and Jain menu! And the professional service standards and the impeccable ambience are other standouts. We loved the origami inspired ceiling lamps as well as the pop of reds both in the canopy corridor as well as in the PDR on the ceiling as part of a brilliant hand painted mural. If Sushi is your preferred choice, try the Golden Maki which surely deserves its signature mention. I loved the Tuna tartare & prawn tempura fillings with white truffle cream, Tobiko and edible gold dust. But the piece de resistance has got to be thd melt in the mouth miso-glazed cod served with beans and cherry tomatoes , that umami aftertaste, yum yum! The Tender Coconut Carpaccio and the Nikkei salad (hamachi, tuna and salmon tossed with Romaine hearts and Iceberg lettuce in a Yuzu emulsion) were the other splendid menu options. Don’t miss the Forbidden Fruit for desserts. And do order pots of steaming hot Mogo Mogo as you finish your meal. The fragrant afternotes of Green Sencha, mango, melon and banana will bliss you out enough to plan revisiting Koko asap !
