The sun was barely peeking over the horizon as our jeep rumbled through the gates of Bandhavgarh National Park, one of India's premier tiger reserves. I was brimming with excitement, so will you! 👉🏻 Anshuman, an experienced naturalist, briefed me on the park's diverse wildlife, including tigers, leopards, sloth bears, and a wide variety of birds. We drove slowly along the winding dirt paths, our eyes scanning the forest for any sign of movement. The air was cool and crisp, and the only sounds were the chirping of birds and the occasional rustle of leaves in the breeze. 👉🏻 After about an hour, we came to a clearing and stopped to rest. Anshuman scanned the area with his binoculars, and I just followed his gaze. But one game drive may not always get you lucky so always opt for a minimum of four safaris, and on one of your drives, you will spot the magnificent creature walking your way, in the distance. Its massive body draped in orange and black stripes will give you goosebumps and your heart will pound with excitement as it gets closer and closer. 👉🏻 We continued on our safari and were fortunate to spot several other animals, including Gaur, Sambar, Langurs and barking deer. As we drove back to the park gate, we reflected on our amazing experience. We had been lucky enough to witness the most majestic creatures on Earth in their natural habitat.
