Brimming with fabrics of all kinds, including Kishuthara, Mathra, Hor and Sethra (Bhutanese textile terms) - Thridung Nima Namza Tshongkhang is a weaving factory owned and operated by the 55-year-old Aum Ugyen Euden. 👉🏻 The imported silks, raw silks, and cotton from India had been employed to create masterpieces – and the prices went from a meagre 3000 Ngultrum ($36) to a hefty 0.2 Million Ngultrum or ($2413). 👉🏻 Aum Ugyen Auden has been the proud recipient of numerous national awards for her incredible contributions to preserving the art of Bhutanese textiles.
