#ByLine For the @firstpost I write about the gilded glory of Thanjavur Paintings. 👉🏻 This was a chance discovery. While we were driving around Thanjavur, my driver Jehan, who has been working for the state government of TN tourism for the last 20 years, sensed my excitement about everything this place had to offer and regaled me with stories about the temple and the paintings within the compound. 👉🏻 While my parents' Thanjavur painting of Shri Venkateswara has adorned our home temple for two decades, I was unaware of its intricate process.
