I rarely cook small portions, yet today it happened, or so I was told—someone ate extra by the way! "What do you expect, momma," I was asked, "when there are only two dishes: kabsa and strawberry rabdi?" She had a point though 😁. Mehebub is arriving tomorrow instead of today, as Pasta and I couldn't make it to Dubrajpur this year so I opted for just two dishes. কে এত খাবে and all. When I make kabsa, I always use loomi, dried black lemons; they are essential for that perfect flavor. The strawberry rabdi was a quick thing, made with the few strawberries left in the fridge. Yes, Eid Mubarak.
