
There are decisions in parenting that keep you up at night, and then there are decisions that are quietly significant, the ones nobody puts on a list for you. I wasn’t one of those parents who stumbled onto stem cell banking by chance. I had researched it, planned for it, and known I wanted to do it before my babies arrived. But here’s what I’ve noticed in all my years of working with parents, most people have heard the term. Very few have gone deep enough to understand what community stem cell banking actually means. And that distinction is what changes everything. Informed decisions feel different from fear-based ones. Lighter, somehow. More like something you did for your child rather than something you did because you were scared. This is one of those decisions I made from a clear, researched place.
