This post is for all the moms who asked me how I did it when I traveled without my baby for 4 days. Did baby feed directly after 4 days? YES ✅ He latched perfectly and fed like I never left Did my supply drop? NO ✅ My supply stayed completely stable How? I pumped regularly while away to maintain supply and stored the milk. When I returned, baby took to the breast immediately. Pro tip: If your baby hesitates to latch after a gap, offer the breast when they’re drowsy/sleepy — the sucking reflex is strongest then and they’re more likely to latch naturally. Important disclaimer: I am NOT encouraging anyone to do this. Everyone needs to make their own decision based on their unique situation. I had: ✓ A strong support system at home ✓ Complete confidence in my decision ✓ The ability to pump consistently while traveling ✓ A baby who was secure in breastfeeding You know your baby, your body, and your circumstances best. You do you. 💛 What worked for me may not work for everyone — and that’s completely okay. This is just my experience for those who asked. Happy to answer any questions you guys have , please ask in comments section. And for links of pump, sterilising bag, chiller, ice packs - comment link and I’ll share it with you directly . . . . . #breastfeedingtips #breastfeedingjourney #pumpingmom #momlife #lactation
