Knead a semi-soft dough, roll thin, and cut into pieces. Dal: Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds. Once they splutter, add chopped tomato , ginger garlic paste and sauté. Add turmeric, salt, peanuts, and cooked, mashed arhar dal. Add water to adjust consistency. Stir in tamarind water and jaggery and bring it to a boil.
