Ranveer Singh has faced a major setback in Bollywood after his sudden exit from Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3. The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has reportedly issued a non-cooperation directive against the actor, which could affect his involvement in industry projects until the matter is resolved. Farhan Akhtar and Excel Entertainment are said to have demanded ₹45 crore in damages, claiming heavy pre-production losses and schedule disruptions after Ranveer left the project shortly before shooting was set to begin. The development comes months after the success of Ranveer’s film Dhurandhar. Since the film’s release, many social media users and industry observers have pointed out that several major Bollywood names, including Shah Rukh Khan, appeared to distance themselves from the project and its team despite its strong box office performance. Online discussions have highlighted what many see as a lack of support or recognition for the film’s success. The latest controversy has further fueled online debates, with many people calling it another example of Dhurandhar and Ranveer Singh being sidelined within parts of the industry. Ranveer’s team has responded cautiously so far, while FWICE has reportedly remained open to discussions if the actor addresses the issue directly. @thetrid.ent
