மேகதாது அணை விவகாரம் பற்றி தமிழ்நாட்டில் பெரிய அளவில் பேசப்பட வேண்டிய நிலையில்… இன்னும் பல அரசியல் கட்சிகள் இதைப் பற்றி தீவிரமாக பேசவில்லை என்பதுதான் கவலைக்குரிய விஷயம். 🌊⚠️ பல பேருக்கு இது வெறும் “தண்ணீர் பிரச்சனை” மாதிரி தோன்றலாம். ஆனா உண்மையில் இது டெல்டா விவசாயிகளின் எதிர்கால வாழ்வாதாரத்தோடு சம்பந்தப்பட்ட மிக முக்கியமான issue. குறுவை மற்றும் சம்பா போன்ற crop cycles-க்கு வெறும் தண்ணீரின் அளவு மட்டும் முக்கியம் கிடையாது… அந்த தண்ணீர் சரியான நேரத்தில் வருவது தான் மிக முக்கியம். நாளை water control முழுமையாக கர்நாடகாவின் கையில் சென்றால், “எப்போது” தண்ணீர் திறக்கப்படும் என்பதுதான் டெல்டா விவசாயத்தின் எதிர்காலத்தை தீர்மானிக்கும். அதனால்தான் இந்த issue பற்றி மக்கள் அதிகமாக பேச வேண்டும்.
