திருவள்ளூரில் 3 வயது குழந்தை… பாலியல் வன்கொடுமைக்கு ஆளாகி உயிரிழந்திருக்கிறது. ஒரு குடும்பத்தின் வாழ்க்கையே நொறுங்கி போயிருக்கிறது. ஒரு தாயின் கைகளில் சிரித்துக் கொண்டிருக்க வேண்டிய குழந்தை, இன்று Justice கேட்கும் செய்தியாக மாறிவிட்டது. Women Safety, Child Safety என்று தினமும் பேசும் அரசு - இப்படி ஒரு கொடூரம் நடந்த பிறகு மக்கள் கேட்பது ஒரே கேள்வி? தமிழகத்தில் Child Safety உண்மையிலேயே தோல்வியடைந்துவிட்டதா? இந்த வழக்கில் கைது செய்யப்பட்டவர் ஒரு migrant worker என தகவல். ஆனால் இது ஒரே நபரின் குற்றம் மட்டும் இல்லை. இது நம் Law & Order, நம் Monitoring System, நம் Public Safety எல்லாவற்றுக்கும் முன் நிற்கும் கேள்வி. ஒரு 3 வயது குழந்தைக்குக் கூட பாதுகாப்பு தர முடியாத நிலை வந்தால், மக்கள் இந்த அமைப்பை எப்படி நம்புவார்கள்? ஒவ்வொரு சம்பவத்திற்குப் பிறகும் Arrest. Inquiry. Statements. ஆனால் அதற்கு முன் இருக்க வேண்டிய Prevention எங்கே? இது அரசியல் பேசும் நேரம் இல்லை. இது Responsibility கேட்கும் நேரம். இந்த குழந்தைக்கு Justice வேண்டும். இனி இதுபோன்ற சம்பவங்கள் நடக்காத பாதுகாப்பான தமிழகம் வேண்டும். Government must answer.
