QOTD: What was your favourite bookish buy of August? . August bookhaul 📚 August was a month of anxiety ridden days for me, but some of my days were made better by bookmail. 📘: Estuary by Perumal Murugan is a book that has been on my radar as I have enjoyed one of his previous works, and thanks to @broke.bibliophile I snagged a copy during a crazy online deal. 📗: Where the Watermelons Grow by Cindy Baldwin is an intriguing middle grade fiction and one I'd pre-ordered. It's been a while since I read a mg and I'm looking forward to it. 📙: A Song of Wraiths and Ruin by Roseanne A. Brown is another pre-order. I have been exited to get my hands on it ever since I read its blurb and I'm hoping to pick it up soon. 📚: The Grisha Trilogy by Leigh Bardugo has been sitting in my cart for a while now and I'd been waiting for a price drop. One fine morning, as soon as I woke up, I casually checked my Amazon cart to check for any price drops and lo and behold the boxset was available for an absolutely amazing price and I immediately grabbed a set. I'm also proud to inform you that I found this deal before even Broke did. (😂) 📘: Kingdom of Back by Marie Lu: A book about the other Mozart? Sign me up! I have been excited to get my hands on this book ever since I found out about it, I immediately pre-ordered it and I'm thrilled that I finally have it. . I hope to get to these books as soon as I can but, my mounting tbr and my ever changing reading mood might hinder that, I'll still try my best though. 😆 Let me know if any of these books are on your tbr or if you've read any. ❤️
