K I N D N E S S 💛 "A random act of kindness, no matter how small, can make a tremendous impact on someone else's life." -Roy Bennett As you all know this past month had been very stressful for my parents and I. They have been confined to their room for the past three weeks and all the house work, cooking, cleaning, etc fell on me. The first few days were the hardest both mentally and physically. But it turns out I needn't be worrying for too long because once word got out that my parents were sick, help started pouring in from everywhere. We live in a large community and have been living here for almost 16yrs now. Everyone my parents have ever known and those still living in this community started bringing food( sometimes enough for leftovers) and left them at our doorstep. Relatives living in the area also have been immensely helpful. One particular relative of ours has been driving 2kms everyday for the past two weeks to bring us food. One lady my mom met only a couple of times and barely knows called her and offered to bring food and said to let her know if we ever need anything. The point of me sharing this is to remind us all how acts of kindness, however small, can positively affect someone's life. My parents and I are immensely grateful to all those that have helped us these past few weeks, help we will be 100% sure to repay. A huge thank you also to those of you who have been checking up on us by messaging me on here and leaving comments under my posts. Thank you, thank you for bringing kindness into our lives when everything else was looking bleak. It means more than we can ever put into words. 💛❤️🤗
