QOTD: A book with a pretty cover but one that disappointed you content wise? . Okay, this book bamboozled me! The reason I bought it was because the publisher touts it as a Pride & Prejudice meets Friday Night Lights, and I was sold at that. It didn't hurt either that the cover is gorgeous but, ughh the writing style was hard to get into, the mc was irritating, and it felt Iike the author took it slow all throughout the book and then rushed everything in the end. 😐
