📚J U L Y • B O O K • H A U L Hello bookworms! I'm so glad to be posting a book haul after 6 months! I can't believe I lasted this long tbh. (😂) I bought a few during an online sale, a couple were gifted to me by publishers, one for a book club, and one is a book I love dearly but don't own a copy of. Keep scrolling if you want to find out more. . 📙Recovery by Helen MacDonald: I bought from Flipkart during their recent sale. The blurb really interested me as it is the author's own experience she's written about. I'm also on a quest to collect all the vintage minis. 📒Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami: I haven't yet read a Murakami although I've owned Kafka on the Shore by him for quite sometime now. I'm hoping this is the year I finally get a taste of this acclaimed author. Murakami fans, please let me know which of the two I should pick first. 📓Lajja by Taslima Nasrin: The folks at #WILBookClub have picked this as their book of the month for August and I'm super duper excited to join in. 📒Lallan Sweets by Srishti Chaudhary: The author was kind enough to send me a free copy. I'm looking forward to it since I've been seeing positive reviews of it everywhere. 📙 Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman: I read this book last year and feel head over heels for it. It made on to my top favourite reads of the year and also on to my all time favourite reads list. Do pick it up if you haven't already. 📘Jinnah by Yasser Latif Hamdani: I was gifted a copy by the publisher @panmacmillanindia Jinnah is a person I want to learn more about because he is an important figure of the independence movement of India and Pakistan. 📓Children of Virtue and Vengeance by Tomi Adeyemi: This is another Flipkart sale buy. I haven't yet read the first book of the series, but on the off chance that I do pick it up soon I didn't want to finish it and not have the sequel with me. . QOTD: Have you read any of these books? Are any on your wishlist? Let me know. 😄
