Malai sandwich dessert: It is easy and simple to prepare without any complicated ingredients involved to make this. It can be ideally made for festivel season or for any occasions to be shared with family and friends. Traditionally, these are prepared and originated from east india. The recipe is very similar to rasgulla or rasmalai but has a unique taste of its own by stuffing mawa in between. Recipe- Ingredients: For chhena- (1)Full cream milk- 1 lit (2)Lemon juice - 2 tbsp (3)Plain flour- 1 tbsp (4)Sugar- 1 cup (5)Water - 4 cup (6)Kevda water- 1 tbsp (optional) For stuffing- (1)Fresh cream - 2 tbsp (2)Clarified butter (ghee) 1 tsp (3)Milk powder - 1/2 cup (4)Powdered sugar - 1 tbsp (5)Saffron milk - 1 tbsp (6) cardamom powder- 1/2 tspn Instructions - Prepare chhena by curdling milk. Drain completely. And hang for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes start to knead the paneer for 5,6 minutes. Add plain flour and combine well. Make 8 to 10 balls of paneer. Boil for 20 minutes in sugar syrup. Keep aside cool completely. Take cooked paneer balls leaving behind the water. Slit in between and stuff mawa and garnish with your favourite dry fruits.
