
Phirni is a delicious dessert from Panjab. A favourite dessert of many people and is quite simple to make as well. Do try this authentic phirni recipe and impress your family. This phirni is made with very simple ingredients- Rice flour, whole milk, mawa, sugar and flavouring we are using saffron nd cardamom.... Ingredients- (1) Basmati rice - 1/4 cup (2) Full fat milk - 1 liter (3) Ghee - 1 TSP (4) Sugar -1 cup (5) Unsweetened mawa - 50 gms (6) Finely chopped pistachios (7) Finely chopped almonds (8) Saffron strands (9) 2-3 pinch of grounded cardamom (10) Rose petals Method- (1) Soak the rice for 30 minutes. and grind it into a coarse mixture. (2) Heat a pan with some ghee. (3) After a minute add milk and boil it. (4) Add the ground rice mixture and mix well (5) Once the rice cooked add the unsweetened mawa and sugar (6) Add dryfruits and mix well. Simmer on low flame for 15 minutes (7) After all the ingredients combine well pour it into mould. Allow to cool and refrigerator till set. (8) Serve it chilled... . .
