
Part 5 – After School Snack Series Summer Cooling Protein Balls * ½ cup leftover cooked rice * ⅓ cup paneer or tofu (crumbled) * 2-3 spoon grated cheese * ¼ cup lauki (bottle gourd), cut into very small cubes * 4–5 tbsp besan * Salt & pepper to taste For cooking: * Sesame seeds * Curry leaves * Oil Method: Blend rice, paneer/tofu, lauki, besan & spices into a thick, coarse batter (don’t add water). Let it rest for 5 minutes. Heat an appe pan, add sesame seeds & curry leaves, spoon the batter in, and cook on low–medium flame till golden and crisp on both sides.
