Rabindra Sangeet and home cooked Lemon chicken! You can never go wrong when you fall in love with yourself a little bit more through cooking. There's no handwritten recipe of this dish because it's something I do when it's scorching heat yet bearable (of course I'm talking about my Dehradun home). Birds chirping and new hibiscus blooming in my verandah. If you can visualise this whole scene on a Saturday night after a tiring corporate day, what gold of a person you are. Back to lemon chicken, the recipe is so easy that any dummy would turn a chef. Just marinate your chicken with pepper, lemon, pinch of turmeric and ginger garlic paste and keep it aside for sometime. Throw in some butter, the marinated chicken, toss it and simmer till the oil oozes out of the chicken. Add your preferred veggies, chillies, sliced lemon and let it cook for 15-20 mins. In between you know the drill, stir it little here, little there. Add garam masala pinch at the end and little sugar. Voila! Quick and easy lemon chicken recipe is ready.
