Homecoming calls for breakfast at Dehradun's OG Best Cafe @kalsangcafe which is actually revered among connoisseurs to have begun the cafe culture in Dehradun. I'm no amateur (can say that proudly after having spent the last 9 years) and what this rustic beauty is known for is its Breakfast Platter. I really wanted to see whether it's still the same after so many years but well.... In Bengali we say, "Jekhane Somoy Thomke Daray" as in, where time stands still". This place knew me when I was no blogger, my insta handle was instachatterjee and it is still the place that has witnessed my transition to Foodicted Fellow whose first blog happened to be on Kalsang. Glad my hosting provider is still supportive and kept it going (FYR= www.stylingupmylife.com).  In case you see my rushing through the bacon rashers from fork to palm it's for that very moment of adrenaline rush. @tcp_thecalcuttaporkaddicts would agree! The window view is still the same, you can see the hideous beauty of canal road and the almighty's Doon valley blessing you teary-eyed. I can see the eyes of Parvatraaj through the latte art, the whipped cream on pancake and the best curve of smile on Doonites around. Not everything changes with time and I feel grateful to be in this era. Maa I missed you.
