Our society genuinely doesn't deserve a great leader like Swami Vivekananda. Have they truly read his teachings from heart and soul and imbibed the values and virtues? Swami Vivekananda says, being liberal is important for holistic growth of an individual, and that people should have the freedom to think, speak, eat, dress, and marry, as long as they don't harm others. But you have the audacity to dictate to people how they should dress or whom to choose as a life partner? Whether your child should pursue Science, commerce or humanities, that he/she/they should decide in a free will. It's their life, let them live happily. Freedom of choice isn't just philosophical but constitutional too. Swamiji believed that true freedom could only be experienced when our society is inclusive, accepting each other's flaws, difference and wins, coexisting together to build a better tomorrow. But you don't really care! You'll divide people on the basis of religion. You'll also divide students based on their merit, invest in those students who'll bring you name, fame and cash flow and not work hard on the students who actually have it in them, halting their growth, taking away opportunities. No, there's no argument to it. Swami Vivekananda strongly believed in the concept of "Advaita" (non-duality), all beings are culminated in the divine.
