10th Blogversary✨ Year-End Trip✨ Yacht Ride at Naini Lake✨ Christmas-New Year Celebration✨ When there are so many occasions to celebrate, you just hop onto a Volvo and head to a place that's both serene and chaotic—a place with lakeside view hotels, hidden alleys, enchanting valleys, delicious food, and endless shopping. And what if that place happens to be your homeland? Yes, you guessed it right—our holiday destination was Nainital, Uttarakhand! We boarded a bus to Kathgodam and took a shared taxi to Mall Road in Nainital, arriving in the middle of the night. The excitement was beyond words. The next 24 hours flew by in a whirlwind of adventure and joy! After a much-needed nap early in the morning, we ventured out for a leisurely stroll along Mall Road. The Boat House Club greeted us warmly, and we decided to take a yacht ride. It was a brave move for both my mom and me, considering our water phobia—but we conquered our fears, and what a victory it was! Right next to the Boat Club lies the sacred Naina Devi Temple and the vibrant Tibetan Market. We spent most of the day shopping, indulging in momos, and finding solace in the lap of Devi Sati Mahamaya. It’s believed that her divine eyes fell here after Lord Vishnu used his Sudarshan Chakra, making this place a spiritually enriching experience.
