Nestled within the vibrant National Crafts Museum & Hastkala Academy in Delhi, Cafe Lota is more than just a café—it's my newly found love for homegrown food. After spending some time amidst our enriched culture, heritage and intricate craftsmanship at the museum, I embarked on an adventure that still makes me go om nom nom nom. My tryst with @cafelotadelhi started with the popular Fish and Fries, in which batter-fried Sole crusted with popped Amaranth grains aww-ed me till the end. Its delicate crunch paired beautifully with the earthy sweetness of sweet potato chips— MUST TRY! For dessert, I indulged in Apple Jalebi with Coconut Rabdi was a revelation—crispy apple fritters kissed with cinnamon, dipped into the luscious coconut rabdi. Every firsts are special, so is this! On my next visit, I ordered the Toddy Shop Fish Curry. Sole fillets simmered in a creamy coconut-based curry infused with the tangy essence of kokum. The appam was fluffy yet crisp at the edges, a perfect day to indulge in robust flavours, one morsel at a time. And to round it all off?
