નખત્રાણા: શહેરના મણીનગર ખાતે નગરપાલિકા કચેરીની સામે જ ઘાસ ભરેલી ટ્રકમાં અચાનક આગ ભભૂકી ઉઠતા દોડધામ મચી હતી. નખત્રાણાને નગરપાલિકાનો દરજ્જો મળ્યાના ત્રણ વર્ષ બાદ પણ અગ્નિશામક દળ (Fire Brigade) જેવી પાયાની સુવિધા ન હોવાથી સ્થાનિક લોકોએ ભારે જહેમત ઉઠાવી હાથવગા સાધનોથી આગ ઓલાવવાનો પ્રયાસ કર્યો હતો. સૂકું ઘાસ હોવાથી આગ ઝડપથી પ્રસરી હતી, જેને પગલે સરકારી સુવિધાઓના અભાવ સામે નગરજનોમાં ભારે રોષ જોવા મળી રહ્યો છે.
