The cycle continues... unless you break it 🔄 They’re not just learning skills from you - they’re learning: What love looks like How to handle failure What they deserve How to treat themselves What “normal” feels like THE SOLUTION: Give them what you never had ✨ PRACTICAL WAYS TO BREAK THE CYCLE: 🔹 Didn’t get patience? → Take 3 deep breaths before responding to them 🔹 Didn’t feel heard? → Put your phone down and make eye contact when they talk 🔹 Didn’t feel safe with emotions? → Say “All feelings are okay here” when they’re upset 🔹 Didn’t get encouragement? → Celebrate their effort, not just results 🔹 Didn’t feel unconditional love? → Say “I love you even when you make mistakes” 🔹 Didn’t get emotional support? → Ask “How can I help?” instead of “Stop crying” DAILY ACTIONS THAT HEAL GENERATIONS: Model the self-talk you want them to have Show them how to apologize when you mess up Let them see you taking care of yourself Demonstrate healthy boundaries Practice gratitude out loud REMEMBER: You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to be intentional.
