Ankita's Post

Pictures are powerful. This picture breathed life into me when I felt I was drowning this postpartum. I had no idea I was pregnant when this was taken, but that limitless, ‘what’s meant to be will be’ feeling? That’s how I’ve felt through the whole nine months. Today, after many difficult days, I felt somewhat close to this version of myself again. Every time that I was struggling with my emotions these last few days - and let’s be real there were plenty such moments - I had to remind myself that I’ve survived harder things in life. I had to remind myself that this version of me exists, even when everything feels overwhelming. I had to remind myself that - if I could get through everything that brought me here, I can get through this too. This picture reminded me of the strength I sometimes forget I have. ✨ This picture has been my anchor to bring me back and yes, now I am back ! 😇 Shot beautifully by @mommyshotsbyamrita in Dec 2024 :)
