In Pune, Ketan Agarwal was allegedly murdered on June 18 after being pushed off Lohagad Fort by his fiancée, Siya Goyal, and her boyfriend, just one day before his birthday. What makes the case even more shocking is that after Ketan’s death, Siya allegedly posted emotional stories online, crying and asking why he had left her, while claiming that his death was an accident. There is also a video from May 19 showing the couple happily celebrating the one-month countdown to Ketan’s birthday. By all accounts, Ketan was deeply in love with Siya. According to Ketan’s father, the murder was carefully planned. He stated that Ketan and Siya first visited Lohagad Fort on May 31. Siya later insisted on visiting again on June 5, but the family refused because the couple had a Bali trip planned for June 6. That trip was cancelled after Ketan’s passport mysteriously went missing from a bag containing four passports, while cash and other valuables remained untouched. Siya then allegedly pushed for another visit to Lohagad Fort on June 14. It is claimed that she attempted to push Ketan during that trip as well, but he survived after hitting a tree. Siya reportedly explained it away by saying she was trying to save him from a snake. Despite this, Siya again insisted on visiting Lohagad Fort on June 18, saying she wanted to celebrate her birthday there a day early. Even after objections from family members, she allegedly convinced Ketan’s mother to allow the trip. According to the allegations, Siya’s boyfriend followed them to the fort on a scooter and stayed nearby. It is claimed that Siya and her boyfriend then attacked Ketan and threw him off the fort. Reports also suggest that the boyfriend was captured on CCTV footage near the fort. These allegations are based on statements made by Ketan Agarwal’s family.
